  • I THINK I FINALLY GET THIS WHOLE EXPONENT CONCEPT. WOW!!!
  • I'm so glad you asked! Just do the same steps but in reverse order. Use the denominator of the fraction (exponent) and turn it into the index. Then, use the numerator and use it as an exponent. So, when (√4)3, the radical notation now becomes 43/2. You learn so quick Dog.
  • Convert from exponential to radical notation
  • wait what if the exponents are negative then what?
  • THANKS UR THE BEST I LOVE YOU CAT
  • see negative exponents are a bit confusing but if you break it down it gets so much simpler :))) !!! Whenever a base has a negative exponent, just rewrite it as 1/Baseexponent. For example 2-2would be 1/22 =1/4. 2-2=1/4!!!
  • Negative Exponent Rule
  • I THINK I GOT IT NOW :3. THIS IS PRETTY EASY. BUT WHAT IF I WANTED TO TURN EXPONENTIAL NOTATION TO RADICAL NOTATION?
  • But, to fully learn these concepts you would need to understand radical and exponential notation. Simply, radical notation is when the expression is written with the square root and exponent. This could be shown as (√9)3. On the other hand, exponential notation looks like this 93/2. To get from radical to exponential notation make the exponent into a fraction. The denominator being the index and the numerator being the exponent. So, (√25)3in exponential notation would be 253/2Now isn't that so easy?
