During the early years of the Industrial Revolution, factory workers worked long hours of 12 to 14 hours in extremely dirty dangerous factories They risked losing limbs due to the unattended machines, and the overall health of the people decreased greatly from the polluted factory air. Children were affected by these conditions as well because they needed to provide for their families. They were paid 10% of what adult males made and sometimes were not allowed time to eat. The factory owners abused the workers and did not take into account their health.
These work conditions are terrible! We are not getting paid as we should and they have no concern for our health! We are being worked to death!

While low class citizens were suffering, factory owners thrived and were able to invest in newer businesses that would grow with the economy.
Wow we are so glad that our factories are doing well and we can invest in other businesses!
BETTER PAY!!
Glisser: 3
Workers were mad and some descided to protest, riot and strike for better pay. Women were paid 1/2 to 1/3 of what a man was paid for the same amount of labor. They had fewer rights so some of the time their husbands would collect their earning for them.
