- Oh my, Oh my! What will I do?! This is horrible, so many lives have been lost.
- Asoka was the third emperor of the Mayuran Dynasty. He was the grandson of the founder who was Chandragupta and the son of the second emperor who was Bindusara. Since Asoka had two other brothers he wasn't the only one who was to be throned. In other words, Asoka and his other brothers fought for the throne. After years of conflict, Asoka was finally named the third emperor of the MAyuran Dynasty.
- Turning for Help

- Buddhism is a religion in whch we believe people are suffering, and to reduce suffering we belive in medatation, spirtrual and physical labor. Buddhists also practice Dharam in order to achieve enlightment.
- After Asoka was named the third emperor of the Mayuran Empire, he decided that he wanted to show efficiency for the empire. He saw that the Kalinga Empire had great contact with Southeast Asia. In other words, the Kalinga Empire had good trade routes with Asia and Asoka wanted that for his Empire. Moreover, Asoka decided to conquer the Empire, which also another bonus for him would be that by conquering the Empire he would be able to conquer more land which means that his empire would expand more.
- The spread of Buddhism throughout the Mauryan Empire
- I encorage every single one of you to convert to Buddhism and follow their practices! After following their practices you will later realize how important it is to follow Dharama. If we can all follow Dharam it is possible to br a empire that is filled with peace and violent-free.
- After the bloodbath between the Kalinga Empire and the Mayuran Empire, Ashoka finally defeated the ruler of the Kalinga Empire. Later on, Ashoka saw the number of lives that were sacrificed to fight in this war. He was devastated and filled with regret. He as well saw all the consequences that the war brought him. In that case, Ashoka concluded that the Kalinga War was his last war, and he will not fight or request any more wars in the future.
- The spread of Buddhism throughout the World
- I order you to spread Buddhism and show the people around India that by practicing Dharma they can achieve enlightment.
- Ashoka was looking for a person who can help him guide his empire to become more violent-free and peaceful. He came upon the religion Buddhism and he saw the practices that Buddhist practices. These practices convinced Ashoka that it could be possible to have a violent free empire. Ashoka later converted to Buddhism and his main focus was to spread the religion throughout his empire.
- After, Ashoka converted to Buddhism he also wanted to spread their practices throughout his empire to achieve a peaceful empire within each other. His main goal was to rule his empire through peace and tolerance and to focus on building important features in his empire, instead of expanding it. Ashoka encouraged his people to convert to Buddhism and follow dharma in order to achieve enlightenment.

- After, Ashoka focused on spreading Buddhism throughout his empire. He also wanted to spread it throughout India, and apparently the rest of the world. Ashoka sent monks throughout India to show more people the practices of Buddhism, and what it has to offer. Ashoka also built stupas, monasteries, and other religious structures to represent Buddhism. Moreover, Ashoka was an enlightenment ruler which he was the first to spread Buddhism across his empire and later on around the world as it also improved his empire by showing them how to live in peace and enlightenment.
