The Rock Cycle Story

- Hi I am Ian the igneous rock. I have had many new lives under going the rock cycle including having the chance of being sedimentary and metamorphic rock. It's ok if you don't know what that means! I'll explain when we go through my life story.
- I started out as magma. I then cooled down and solidified to become an igneous rock. Next, we're going to the beach where I spent a lot of time weathering and eroding!
- VOLCANO!
- This is the point in time where I became sediments due to breaking down. I then eroded more to become a sedimentary rock.
- Here, I went through compaction and cementation. I became a metamorphic rock because I underwent a huge change (morph).
- We are back where it all started. Here, I went through heat and pressure to become magma again in order to restart the cycle.
- Here I am present day! Miss. Sleit is teaching about the rock cycle. That is the process that I went through to become what I am. I cooled down from being magma and now I am an example of an igneous rock in his class.
