- During construction the workers faced diseases from mosquito's like yellow fever and malaria which are DEADLY. Many died.
- Man! Building this Canal sucks with all these mosquito's!

- Jeez! This is so much faster than going around South America!
- The Panama canal benefits the U.S by being faster for trade, military use, and cheaper to ship.
