- Honey I have tried just about everything to get Mary to keep her room clean. Nothing seems to be working. Do you have any suggestions?
- That's a wonderful idea honey thank you.
- Have you tried taking her phone away from her?
- when you take her phone away dont give it back right away when she cleans her room. wait a couple days.
- Give me your phone and when i see your room staying clean then i will give it back to you but not until then.(unpleasant event)
- Mary i have been asking you every single day to clean your room i have grounded you i have taken away going out with your friends on weekends and nothing seems to be working.
- So your dad suggested i take away your phone and until your room can stay clean you will no longer have a phone.
- NOOOO...Please mom dont take my phone i will clean my room right now.(desirable behavior)
- if i want my phone back i better keep my room clean
