- A Lord with tricks Christopher sly into thinking he is a lord who lost his memory. With the help of an acting troup he puts on a play to try to convince him he's nobility
- The play starts with a very popular women getting told she cant marry until her older sister does
- This causes the multitudes of men who like the younger sister to find a man to marry the older sister
- After permission from the father the older sister reluctantly agrees to marry a man named Petruchio
- On the day of the wedding Petruchio is extremely late.
- When Petruchio does arrive he gets there in horribly miss matched clothes riding in a messy broken wagon
- After the wedding once they had returned home Petruchio denied his wife hot meals and baths saying they weren't good enough and he would only let his wife have everything be perfect
- He did this to purposefully manipulate his wife into being under his controll and it was his way of "taming the shrew"
- After this manipulation, Petruchio and his wife go out. while having dinner with people petruchio decides to show of how obidient his wife has become after their marraige and she ends up giving a peech on how its a wifes duty to be obedient to a man
