  • All images are made up of tiny dots called pixels.Each pixel has a colour and is made up of different combinations of red, green,and blue LEDs (this is called the RGB colour system).

  • She continues to research more about digital images! She clicks onto an article and begins to gather images for her class project! Stacey spends hours on her school project and is finally ready to hand it in....
  • The red, green, and blue applies and uses 8 bits(short for binary digit) each, which withhold the integer number values from 0 to 255. This means each colour can be represented with numbers.
  • Stacey ends up getting an A on her assignment and moves on to do great things with her newfound knowledge of how images are encoded!
