- both the French and the English are very powerful and the French have a piece of land called the Ohio river valley that the English want for themselves because it is by waters and a good trading port. So the Virginian governor sends George Washington out to ask the French to leave their territory
- the French took over a part of America when the British took over a part of Spain and the Spanish where taking over the Aztec civilization so now since the French are in America they all own parts of the Americas.
- the French partnered up with natives known as the Shawnee tribe they knew war was coming so this was a smart decision when the British marched through the woods the British blended in and ambushed them.
- In 1755 the British were planning to take over the French forts it was not good for the British they were destroyed only 500 of 1500 lived. Also the French got some of Britain's plans so they could easily take over their forts in the great lakes.
- the British were more powerful in the water so they made a blockade to cut off supplies and troops sent by the French to America. This resulted in the British wining and capturing parts of the Ohio river valley.
- after 7 years of war, they finally agreed on some treaties they divided up America and gave all of it to Britain except for Louisiana Spain got Louisiana and Britain had the rest France lost most of the Caribbean only escaping with on.
