- it starts off with a cliff by the sea,water is pounding at it all day meaning that water goes inside of the cracks, making them larger and larger
- the water would then crash so much into the cliff that it starts breaking, and forming a cave as the water went in.
- as more and more water goes in the cave, the more it will expand, making the cave larger and larger. if there is high tide or storms it will make the cave bigger and bigger.
- the cave breaks through the headland, forming a natural arch. the arch keeps eroding though and gets really big and thin
- the arch gets so thin that it then collapses and turns into a tall rock stack.
- the stack continues getting eroded and forms small rock stumps.
