- After they left, I went on with my daily routine. I made food, toke a shower, and read a book
- The date was October 18. My parents and brother were leaving for vacation in Bora Bora
- As day turned into night, I decided it was time to get some sleep
- bye sweetie, see you soon
- it's kinda scary being home alone at night, can't wait for my parents to come back home
- AND I WON'T MISS YOU GROMMET HEAD!
- bye mom and dad, i'll miss you
- but I was suddenly awoken by a loud noise
- what was that...
- I quickly fell into a deep sleep and began dreaming about unicorns that night
- thinking it was just the neighbours. I went back to sleep

- As I laid on my bed in fear, I saw in the distance that my bedroom door slowly began creaking open
- I began to fall asleep once again, until the lights in my room suddenly started flickering
- With all these strange activities occuring around me, I gained enough courage to stand up and investigate what was going on
- In a state of shock, I stayed in my bed, not knowing what to do
- hello! is someone there!
- I slowly approached the door while trembling. My palms were sweating and I couldn't catch my breath
- But suddenly. In the corner of my eye. I see this monster jump out at me
- I exited my room and was surrounded by an eerie calm in the environment. No sound to be heard
- I RAN AS QUICK AS I COULD TO THE FRONT DOOR.
- i want my mom and dad
- OMG, SOMEONE HELP ME
- and ran a couple blocks to my grandma's house where i took refuge for the next week
- but i hope to never have to experience that in my life ever again
- THE END
- still to this day, i don't know who that monster was
