  • The road not taken, by Robert Frost. a poem created as a joke for Edward Thomas when robert and hendward were on a walk together. the poem went from being a joke to one of the most famous poems ever written
  • the poe, those choices will greatly affect your life. as in the poem the traveler had to chose, the easy looking path that many have travelled or the path full of undergrowth that no one has ever taken.the traveler took the path not taken and later knew he made the right choice
  • the two; paths symbolize the choices people make in life . when making a decision in life. and those choices will greatly affect your life. as in the poem the traveler had to chose, the easy looking path that many have travelled or the path full of undergrowth that no one has ever taken.the traveler took the path not taken and later knew he made the right choice
  • a poem made as a joke ends up being a very complex poem,. it evokes the feeling of regret , as no one can take both paths and see everything, they will have to choose one or other knowing they won't ever see the one the did not choose. It invokes the feeling of responsibility for making such a decision .
  • for the original purpose of this poem being a joke, it holds a lot of complexities , it is as complex as making the decision shown in the poem. Robert Fost made a poem that every living being can relate to,, that being the severity of making a decision. the poem being fairly deep and complex, its still able to be understood by many.
  • in the words of Robert Frost " the road not taken is that life is full of choices which will define our destinies " . the poems message is commonly interpreted as "an anthem of individualism and nonconforming , it encourages the readers to take the road less traveled
