  • I should've never let her go
  • When Scrooge is working in his office, his nephew Fred invites him over for Christmas dinner. Scrooge denies Fred's request because he hates Christmas. After Fred leaves to celebrate Christmas with his family, A gentleman visitor asks Scrooge to donate money to the poor. Selfish Scrooge doesn't do this, as he wishes the poor would die and decrease the surplus population.
  • Scene 4
  • Singing
  • When Scrooge reaches his house, he is greeted by his servants who ask for a tip. Scrooge is infuriated by this and goes to bed. As he lay in bed, the Ghost of his long-dead partner Marley visits him and tells him to change or he will have to carry the same chains that Marley had to in his afterlife. Marley also warns Scrooge about 3 spirits that will visit him.
  • Scene 5
  • I'm gonna steal all of his valuable items. Of of his corpse.
  • The first spirit comes and takes Scrooge to his past, and he sees how innocent and young he was, and how much he changed since then. He also sees his sister Fan, who tragically dies after giving birth the Fred. The final thing he sees is his sweetheart, who he refused to marry because she was too poor and couldn't pay dowry. Scrooge comes to see the decisions that he made and that he regrets so much.
  • Scene 6
  • The second spirit shows Scrooge his employee Crachit's house. Since Scrooge paid Crachit so little, his family is very poor. Scrooge sees Cratchit's son Tiny Tim, who is in bad condition. As he watches all the Crachit children sing a Christmas song, he sees how they make the best of their situation, and how the poor don't deserve to be poor. When he sees homeless people, he asks if they have a place to go, and the second spirit quotes Scrooge, Saying, "Then let them die and decrease the surplus population." Scrooge realized how harsh his words sounded.
  • Will Tiny Tim be ok?
  • I thought you wanted poor people to die.
  • Thieves!
  • The third spirit takes Scrooge to a horrifying future, where Tiny Tim is dead, and so is he. Since he had nobody to write to in his will, his servants steal his valuables. This makes Scrooge realize that he doesn't want his future to be like this.
  • After his ordeal with the three spirits, Scrooge learns to change and to be more happy and generous. He buys the poor Crachits a prize turkey and goes to his nephew's house to celebrate Christmas Day. Finally, Scrooge is truly happy.
