Two 2 wheelers collided, sparking off a blaze near Channenahalli on Magadi Road, 21km west of Bengaluru, late on Sunday evening.
The bikes involved in the accident were a TVS Victor and a Honda.
According to initial reports, Sampath, 35, was riding one of the bikes while his friend Chandru was riding pillion

Petrol is said to have leaked from the tank of the bike that Sampath was riding.
