My Social Anxiety

- Hello! My name is Christine. Today I want to share with you my short story about my life.
- First thing in the morning, I think about what I need to do for the day.
- I have to present a historical work in front of the entire class today, and I'm pretty scared about it. If you didn't know, social anxiety is defined as anxiousness in social situations, which is exactly what I'm dealing with.
- Secondly, I ride a jeep to go to school. This is the first situation I have to deal with, and here is why: I think everyone is looking at me, judging me.
- I arrived at school after a long ride, and I'm already in my classroom. Now it is my turn to present my work. I despise situations like these; they make me nervous, but most of the time, the presentation goes well and nothing happens, which makes me feel relieved.
- As I already stated, nothing occurred. Therefore, I'm delighted and proud of myself for overcoming that type of circumstance.
- It's time to go home! I didn't have to deal with any more challenging issues today. That is why we came here after finishing school.
