Dear Bailey,Hi from Hanauma Bay! I had to share the magic of snorkeling here—it's truly mesmerizing. Nestled in a volcanic crater on Oahu's southeastern coast, Hanauma Bay is a nature preserve renowned for its rich marine life and stunning coral reefs. Did you know it formed over 32,000 years ago?As I floated over the reef, I saw dozens of orange fish and even got to swim with a sea turtle! It's not just about the snorkeling though—the bay is a protected marine conservation area, with efforts in place to preserve its delicate ecosystem. Educational programs here teach visitors about coral reef ecology and sustainability. I can't wait to tell you more about my trip to Hawaii when I'm home!Love, Eva
