- Hi I'm Barry the Basalt Rock. I am an extrusive igneous rock that is dark grey and has large crystals. This is because the lava I originated from cooled extremely fast.
- I sit at the bottom of an inactive volcano and tourists love to climb it mean over time as they walk over me little bits break away. This means I will eventually be no longer basalt and instead I will be something completely different.
