IMPROVES YOUR COMMUNITY
New School Opening This Fall!
COULD DECIDE CLOSE ELECTIONS
Although many Americans think voting only impacts the who becomes president, local and state elections are also important. By voting in local elections, the winners of those elections could be the ones that can more quickly improve your local community through fixing roads, building new schools, and more.
American voters may think that their one vote doesn't matter in the grand scheme of millions, but in close elections, it matters. For example, the famous 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore was decided in Florida by a difference of only 537 votes out of almost six million that were cast!

Why Voting Matters?
IT'S YOUR MONEY
Although millions of Americans vote in elections, the voters themselves do not represent the diverse population in America today. With a higher proportion of the elderly voting compared to younger voters, many issues that younger generations face are not seen as the highest priority among some candidates.
Every American citizen is required to pay taxes. Each and every dollar spent on taxes is money that goes towards one of our thousands of programs, institutions, and structures throughout the United States. Voting is your chance to determine how that money will be spent!
