- Hades sees Persephone and wants her as his wife so he asks Zeus for his premission and he agrees
- Hades captures Persephone and takes her back to his layer
- For months she becomes locked up in his layer
- when Demeter finds out her daughter was taken she stops helping out the town and makes herself old. Then she meets 3 little girls where they tell her that their little brother Demophoon is very sick so she starts to help him out
- every night when everyone went to bed she would stick the baby in the fire to give it strenghth,but the mother became suspicious of old Demeter and snuck up on her one night and she kicked her out

- meanwhile at Hades house. Zeus tells Hades to return Persephone back home, But Hades wants her to eat so he makes her eat a pomagranite. She eats 7 seeds

- What have you done now you have to stay with hades for 7 months of every year
