Hi, my name is Duke Kahnanamuko. I was born in August 24 in 1890 and is from Honolulu Hawaii. I was born into a minor noble family less then 3 years before the Hawaiian Kingdom go overthrown .

I was one of the people who popularized the sport of surfing. I am also a 5 time Olympic medalist in swimming, winning medals in 1912, 1920 and 1924. I also worked as a law enforcement officer, actor, butinasse man, beach volleyball player and water polo player. I am also the first person to be introduced into both swimming hall of fame and also surfing hall of fame. Another thing I did was I gave private swimming lessons to former president Franklin D. Roosevelt

My achievements over the years have a large affect on the world today. One effect is how I popularized surfing and is now one of the most popular and widely known sports. Another effect I had on the word is my surfing exhibition in Australia’s freshwater beach in 1914 is widely regarded as a seminal event in the development of surfing in Australia
