- So, you know how here has been tension with France lately? Well, things were getting out of hand and Adam's was blaming the immigrants ans Democrat-Republicans for all the chaos. To stop this, Federal congress passed the acts

- The Alien and Sedition acts have been passed by the Federalist to protect America. It forbids anyone from criticizing the federal government.
