- The Hadean Time is the time of the fiery formation of the earth. It began at the Earth's formation about 4.6 billion years ago, and ended 4 billion years ago. Because the planet was in a molten state, No rocks from this time are around so it is not a geologic eon. It was a time of fiery birth for the earth.
- Did you know? The name "Hadean" comes from Hades, Greek for "Underworld", due to the conditions on the Earth at the time.
- However, there are scientists that as recently as May, 2005 are presenting new evidence that the earth may have already begun to cool and form solid crust during this time period and that life could have been possible.
- 2.7 billion years ago, bluish-green microscopic organisms called cyanobacteria flourished in Earth’s oceans. They made gaseous, or free, oxygen from carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight—the process called photosynthesis.
- Did you know? During the Archean eon, There was no oxygen gas on Earth. Oxygen was only in compounds such as water.
- I will talk about the Archean period. The Archaean lasted from 4,000 million years ago (mya) to 2,500 mya. It contains the first sedimentary rocks, and the first fossil life forms, which were cyanobacteria, and acritarchs.

- I always got you back my friend! Proterozoic era Began about 2.5 billion years ago and ended about 541 million years ago. The Proterozoic comes before the Phanalezoroic. It was a period before the first abundant complex life on earth and it comprises 42% of Earth History.
- Trilobites are very well-known in Proterozoic. and possibly the second-most famous fossil group, after the dinosaurs they are already highly diverse and geographically dispersed.

- During the Proterozoic Eon, modern plate tectonics became active, and the ancient cores of the continents moved over wide areas of the globe

The Phanerozoic is the current geologic eon in the geologic time scale, and the one during which abundant animal life has existed. Do you know? Phanerozoic name derives from the Ancient Greek words φανερός and ζωή, meaning visible life, since it was once believed that life began in the Cambrian, the first period of this eon.
- From the Earth's history, Phanerozoic is known as the youngest among the four eons. Phanerozoic covers roughly 542 million year and goes back to the time when diverse hard-shelled animals first appeared. During this time Mass extinction events are extinctions where large numbers of species die off.
