- Alright
- The setting of the story is in Max's neighborhood. The characters are Max who is brave, loyal, and very big.The new kid on the block is Kevin (or Freak) who is very small but also very smart.
- Climax
- All we can do is wait.
- Is there anything we can do.
- We skip a while when Kevin and Max become friends. At this point we learn that Kevin has a disease that makes his insides grow but not his outsides.
- Falling Action
- I miss Freak already.
- Kevin is asking Max to blow out the candles of his birthday cake. Also he doesn't eat any cake even though he was "saving room" for it.
- Resolution
- I love you guys.
- Freak starts to have seizure and Max wants to help but there is nothing that they can do but wait.
- Waaaaaaa
- Freak dies shortly after that and Max decides to start to write in the journal that Freak gave him.
- Max eventually gets over Freak and get to live good rest of his live with Grim and Gram.
