- During this early colonial period England wa also involved in a system known as the triangular trade where Africa, America and England traded things like a large amount of natural resources from the colonies in America Like cotton and other cash crops in the south and things like lumber in the north, from England things like clothes, furniture another manufactured goods could be sent, from Africa things like gold and iron were traded, this also directly ties to the Atlantic slave trade and how people were sent to America for things in return
- Going back to the Colonial part of these trades these territories in North America were occupied by the British so they could the natural resources and raw materials that were not in England and in different regions there were different resources
- The first region I will cover is the New England colonies which consisted of MA,NH, RI, and CY farming wasn’t very popular there and most of the economy was built on things like building ships, fishing, whaling if they ever did farm it would be for themselves.The middle region with colonies like NY, PA, DE, NJ and Maryland was somewhat apart of it, they were definitely more dependent on farming things like what’s and they were known as the bread brisket at that time for the large amount of bread products they grew,The last region which is a Southern region had a lot of what is known as cash crops like rice indigo in the back of these colonies also like much more heavily on the sleeves since most of the resources in economy they had cars for a lot of heavy duty work they believed that more enslaved people would make it easier for them , the colonies here were, NC, SC, GA, and the other side of Maryland

- Knowing that they were going to have to contest for this land Ben Franklin met up with some states and Native Americans who were opposed to Native Americans allied with the French and basically tried to create one army to fight the French but England did not allow that so America didn’t have any real army to go against France even with this Americans fought several battles with the French even one including a future President George Washington, when the British leader William Pitt came in to play he was able to fight off the French but in the process spent an entirely too much amount of money that England did not have to pay back

- In this time the British weren’t the only people trying y to colonize the new America’s there was also France and Spain occupying different parts of that land specifically France is making it quite difficult for the colonies to try to expand westward because they were coming from the north trying to go south and the paths between these two will cross and then they can both have the land so this causes some problems between these two nations
- After spending an abundance of money fighting the French the British decided to tax the citizens of American colonies for most things which was believed to be outrageous to the people causing many problems such as rebellions and it sparked the ideas of the biggest rebellion in the US which is the American revolution because the colonies are starting to come together seeing how England was treating them they wanted to have rights and freedom
