I’m really gonna miss my friends
This journey will be long and hard but we need the goods to support our family
I want to go back
*grunt*
I’m glad father taught me how to build this fire because it can get cold out here at night
Luckily tomorrow we meet with the western trader
The Silk Road was an ancient trade route that linked the western world with the Middle East and Asia. This character is going to travel across The Silk Road to trade.
Here’s some tea and silk
And here’s some fur and the bubonic plague *cough* *cough*
The journey across The Silk Road was a long a gruesome task. The geography was steep and could easily throw animals off balance. People also faced massive sandstorms and mirages.
We’re finally going back
temperatures on the Silk Road could vary from 4°F-104°F depending on the location and month.
