  • Foreshadowing: In act 3 scene 5, line 244 and 246 Juliet is using Foreshadowing since she was going to get Friar's help or confess to him. She didnt want to marry Paris since she was with Romeo. She told the nurse to find where Romeo is using Friar's help
  • Dramatic Irony: In act 3, scene 1, line 69 Romeo was trying to stop the fight between Mercutio and Tybalt. He liked Tybalt a lot more, and that he since he was married to Juliet they were in the same family
  • Imagery: In act 1, science 5, line 55 and 56 Romeo used imagery to describe Juliet's beauty saying"so show a dove trooping with crows, as younger lady o'er her fellows shows
  • Metaphor: In Act 2, scene 2, line 3 Romeo uses metaphor by saying " Juliet is the sun" that is is beautiful and bright
  • Personification: In act 2, scene 2 Romeo used personification when he said that "Arise, fair sun and kill the envious moon"
  • Hyperbole: In act 2, scene 2 Juliet used hyperbole by saying that her " bounty is as boundless as the sea" she meant that what  she had to give to  Romeo is wider than the ocean
