- A Sergeant comes over to share his stories, among them the tale of a cursed monkey's paw.
- Falling Action
- Please give me back my son!
- The family asks about the monkeys paw, and the serjeant tells them not to. However, they use it anyway. They ask for two hundred pounds, which would be enought o pay off their morgage costs.
- Resolution
- The familie's son, Herbert, is killed in an industrial accident, and the company he works for sends two hundred pounds as recompense.
- "I walk to Burger King..."
- The man and his wife, now firmly believing in the power of the paw, wish for the son back. The husband does not think that that would be a good idea, but wishes anyway. They then hear a knock on the door.
- KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK
- No, we can't!!
- Ok, fine
- C'mon
- As the wife tries to open the door, the husband makes an unknown final wish. When his wife opens the door, there is nothing there but and empty street.
- (mumbles incoherently)
- NO!!! My son IS dead!!!
