The exposition was Leon introduced Maria as his wife to his younger brother, Baldo. Baldo described Maria as lovely, tall, and beautiful.

The rising action was when Baldo took the road of Waig instead of passing in Camino Real. It is because their father told it. They were trying to test Maria if she can live in the province which differs a lot from the city. And Maria was afraid that she won't be accepted by Leon's father.

The Climax of the story was when Leon already introduced Maria to his family hoping that they will accept and like Maria for him

The falling action was when Maria passed the challenges despite of her personality. She surpassed the trials given to her by the family of Leon which proved that she is worth it for Leon as his wife

he denouement was when Baldo and his Father are talking about Maria and their trip, then afterwards the door opened, Leon and Maria came in. Baldo then went out to water Labang as instructed by his father. T
