- A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho. He was attacked by robbers who stripped and beat him before leaving him half dead on the side of the road.
- A priest was going down that road bust just passed by the half dead man.
- Next, a Levite walked down the road, saw the man and then passed him.
- Finally a travelling samaritan passed by and had pity on the man. He bandaged the man’s wounds .
- The samaritan then put the man on his animal, and brought him to an inn and took care of him.
- The samaritan then took out to denarii and paid the innkeeper to take care of the man. The Samaritan was the only person to have mercy on the man.
