- Walter would fall and hurt himself while in the mine and Cloyd would run to the mine finding Walter kaying there not dead just passed out from the hit "Cloyd found himself at the end of the tunnel with the only the old mans head shoulders and right arm shown".
- Cloyd would end up living with Walter after getting to know him and find out more abt him and getting to like him more
- Cloyd ends up getting Walter more peach tree seeds so he can grow all his peach trees back
- Walter ends up in the hospital after his injuries with Cloyd watching over him
