- Ann is married, a loving mother 4, grandmother of 9 and a reliable employee of a local middle school. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and shopping.
- What's Wrong With Ann?
- Although Ann has various types of technology at her disposal, her knowledge of how to fully utilize and understand the technology she owns is extremely limited to non existent. She has very little knowledge of her own mobile device.
- BUT WAIT!!!!
- WE CAN HELP!!!
- Because of this lack of knowledge, she feels that the advancement of technology today is quickly leaving her and older people like her behind. This feeling of being left behind has allowed a disinterest, resentment, and fear to dominate her feelings towards technology.
- The First Step..

- She notices a flyer that directly addresses her issue, by offering FREE classes for older adults that will teach technology literacy.
- Let the Class Begin!!
- Ann contacts the group conducting the service, to inquire about the classes offered.
- Changing the Outlook...
- As Ann begins her first day, time was taken to get to know a few things about her. Information is gathered on various topics like, what types of technology would she like to focus, current knowledge, what she hopes to get out of the class, but most importantly to understand the person she is.
- A New Beginning!!!
- Ann is taking advantage of a personalized, focused education approach towards her need for increaseD ability and knowledge of technology that's around her. Through gaining a basic understanding of technology, the fear and possible resentment towards technology is able to be dissolved and turn into excitement and competence towards tech.
- Ann now possess the ability to utilize her owned devices, yes even her mobile device. She can now navigate her way confidently in a world that is driven by technology.
