- There is a house with gadgets that are programmed to work by themselves which provide help to the family living in the house. According to the usual routine, a voice-clock sings"Tick-tock, seven o'clock, time to get up, time to get up, seven o'clock!" when we come to realize that the house is empty and the clock is singing to a deserted room.

- The house is empty, as an unexpected nuclear explosion occurred, resulting in the silhouette of two siblings playing catch.

- The dog,now weak,walks inside the house. After afewminutes ofrunning and barking for someoneelse, the dog goes towards the kitchendoor,attracted to the aroma. Itstarts to run wildly in circles, biting at its tail, spun in a frenzy,anddied,laying in the parlor foranhour.

- As the time struck 9:05 a voice from the ceiling asks what poem to play. As there is no answer the voice replies by playing one of the persons' favorites and recites, "There will come soft rains and the smell of the ground..."
- The wind blew a tree to crashland in the kitchen of the house, making cleaning solvent shatter over the stove, which helped a fire ablaze in the room immediately, which a voice from somewhere creamed “Fire!”
- As dawn faintly shows in the east,one wall stands in the smoke and silence of the remains of the house. Within the wall, a last voice says over and over again, “Today is August 5, 2026, today is August 5, 2026, today is ...”
