  • Louisiana Purchase
  • We need money, please. Our military expenses are too much.
  • MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!
  • This is good land
  • We'll buy your land for $15 million.
  • Lewis and Clark
  • Yeah, but it's taken by Natives.
  • Zebulon Pike
  • It's drier than my grandma's skin.
  • The French was currently fighting with Britain, and needed money for their military. The U.S bought it for $15 million. Worth $370 million today.
  • Stephon Long
  • When Lewis and Clark was sent to explore their new bought land, they went through the upper northeast area of Kansas. They reported back to the government, and they sent someone else to search farther.
  • Jackson's Speech To Congress
  • Y'all wanna remove the natives? Or use the land, and just work with our population growth?
  • Zebulon went to go search farther west, and went into the western portion of Kansas. The western side of Kansas is drier than the north. So when Zebulon reported to the government that it wasn't the proper landscape for crops, it started another debate.
  • Removing The Native Americans
  • Stephon decided to go see the western side and see if it was dry or good agriculture land. Just like Zebulon said, the western side is dry.
  • Yep, it's drier than Zebulon's grandma.
  • When Stephon returned to the original U.S, they started a debate either to keep with the land they have, and never use the bought land. Meanwhile also debating to remove the natives somewhere else.
  • The votes were settled on removing the Natives from their land. They didn't know the other lands well, since they were uninhabited. The resources were scarce, and more than 2 or 3 tribes in one place created tension.
