- Some people aren't as lucky as us, some people struggle for the basic things in life, but you should never be mean to someone for something they can't control.
- I know. How does someone know they're poor anyways?
- No we're not, we're middle class.
- The government has a system of measuring how much money you make and that determines if you are considered poor

- Why do people live in poverty? Why don't they have enough money, and how do they live?
- There's many reasons, like they don't have a job or they're disabled, or inflation happens and they don't make enough money.
- They live by using programs the government funds to help them like Medicaid for healthcare or welfare and food stamps to help buy groceries.

- I'm glad they have resources to help them! I'm going to talk to the girl that was being picked on tomorrow and be her friend.
