  • I have told you this a thousand times.
  • I can't stay here anymore!
  • Is that a roar of a LION!!!!!
  • GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
  • Once a king had a slave. The king was cruel and unjust. He was selfish and strict. His slave did not like him due to his cruel behaviour. The king used to give him heavy punishment for slight mistakes. He used to give him very little to eat. The slave had a miserable life.
  • One day, he decided to run away. In the morning, he ran away to the forest and hid in a cave behind a rough and bumpy rock. He was sure that the king's soldiers were searching for him everywhere.
  • Come along now!! Majesty is waiting for you. It's your last day today so tell us your last wish.
  • Sitting in the cave, he was thinking of his fate when he heard a painful growl behind him. He growled so loudly that the walls shook and vibrated like the tail of a rattlesnake. The lion was sitting behind him. He was drenched with sweat in fear. He could not move. The lion growled again. He turned back and looked at the lion.
  • Thankyou!!
  • The slave went closer to the lion. He saw that the lion has got lacerations by a tiger's claw. He took out a white, square-shaped napkin from his pocket and wrapped it around his soft paw.
  • One day, when he was picking up some sweet, juicy strawberries from a nearby tree. Suddenly, he heard some footsteps. They were the soldiers from the king's palace. He noticed the flashing yellow lights from the soldiers which lit up the dark cave. They caught the slave and wanted to kill him as he betrayed them.
  • The lion came running from the cave and saved the slave from the soldiers. They were frightened to see the lion. The slave was saved from the cruel king now. Kindness never stays unrewarded.
