- Provide some general info about the stream; the personal value I have foe the site, since I lived adjacent to it and feequently explored it. I can feature some interesting macroinvertebrates or fish caught in the stream as I relay this info.
- Next, I need to reveal that its actually not as healthy as it could be, starting by featuring some of the garbage and invasive species there as a precursor to the larger issues.
- Next, I'll talk about some of the major anthropogenic factors that are influencing the streams health. This includes a polluted and poorly managed pond that feeds into the stream, along with several apartment complexes and a few adjacent busy roads and sidewalks that allow for pollutant runoff. As such, I'll feature some footage of these problematic aspects.
- Next, I'll present a opposing questiom: why do these small streams matter, and why shoild we care if theyre polluted? In response, I will detail their importance for the overall health of the Chesapeake Bay.
- To present a resolution to the aformentioned issues, I'll discuss some specific management efforts implemented in/ around small streams. I can probably use some stock footage of invasive species being removed or stream buffers/ improved drainage systems being constructed.
- Finally, I'll loop things back around to the the simplicity and natural beauty of these small streams, and reiterating their importance for the collective Chesapeake Bay watershed.
