Due to scientific advancements during this time period, new technological advancements were made. These included weapons like tanks, flamethrowers, poison gas, machine guns, tactical air support, etc
WW1 started in 1914 and used many of the new technological advancements to fight these battles. But many of the times, these weapons were extremely dangerous and did more harm than good.
We need more weapons!
Due to the war, there was a need for weapons and new technological advancements, so employment and production increased.
On it!
Countries continued attacking each other. One reason countries attacked each other was to secure resources to keep the factories and productions going.
We need more resources!
We need to get it from other countries
WW2 meant the need for the production of weapons and materials, this caused an increase in the economy and therefore ended the Great Depression.
