- Actually it's not rude at all! Currently there are over 7.5 billion people on this earth right now, and the number is most likely to increase by 10 billion in the next few years. That's so many people to feed and definitely not enough farmers and animals.
- Omg! I cant't believe they didn't have eggs at the store.I've tried to go to 5 other stores and the supply is so low.In some grocery stores they only let you take one carton.Can you Imagine! How rude.
- Actually, before advances in agriculture, over 200 years ago, 90% of just the U.S population lived on farms so they could grow and produce their own food.Though, modern advances in agriculture and technology have made it possible for farmers to feed more people at a time. With the help and use of technology, one farmer is now able to feed 155 people.Compared to 1940, one farmer could only feed 19 people.
- What? That’s crazy! I didn’t know there were so many people. Now I understand why they are running out of things.But how did people years ago get food? They probably had plenty of things in the stores because the population wasn't that big before.
- I had no clue agriculture and technology were conneted. Now I get why farmers are struggling to feed us all.It must be a tough job to do.
- Yeah exactly! As a result of improvements in technology, such as motorized equipment and modifications in housing for the animals, it has allowed farmers to feed way more people.It also requires fewer people to be working on farms to feed their own families. Oh! There's my car.
