Elements of a civilization

- HI! My name is Aliya, and I am here to show you around my civilization. Here is one of our cities. After years of growing and adapting we are able to build things like this. Cities house the people, and are the places where cultures form.
- Another part of our civilization is our government. The government was formed to uphold the law and keep everyone organized. It is also important because it punishes those who do no follow the law.
- A little while after trade and agriculture had been developed our civilization , our religion also developed. Most people in out region practice, or have at least heard of our religion.
- As we developed, we also have formed social structures. Social structures are like arrangements in a society. Some good examples would be classes and family units.
- People have also developed art. Art is one of the ways we express our culture. Pottery, painting, and jewelry making are some examples of art. We have been doing art since the very beginning.
- Another aspect of our civilization that lets us express our culture is writing. After the development of a language, we started using writing to keep track of things, and make literature. By writing we are also create a source for people in the future to look at.
