- Hi class, Todays topic is about independt, dependent, and control variables. The independent variable is important because you can change it. and when the independent changes the dependent does aswell
- The dependent variable is inportant because it changes depending on the independent and unlike the independent dependent cannot be changed
- The control variables are things that if you change them it will change the expirement. But you can only have control variables on the independent because the independet is something you can change the dependent is not.
- We are outside of school and we are going to show you our experiment. We have a hockey puck and we are going to slide it across the ground....
- Now were at the beach! We are going to slide the hockey puck against the ground now.....
- So this concludes the expirement. The independent variable was the floor surface because we can change that. The dependent was the hockey puck distance because depending on the material of the surface the distance of the hockey puck changes.
