  • The Suitors Fight Odysseus
  • It was described that Antinous was shot in the neck with an arrow my Odysseus. The arrow went up to the feathers through his neck. Blood was spraying out his nose as he fell and died.
  • Telemachus gets Odysseus More Weapons
  • Eurymachus gives a speech to all the cowering suiters, saying that Odysseus' anger is unable to be calmed. He tells them all that they must take their swords and bows and kill Odysseus.
  • Odysseus and Telemachus Defeat the Suitors
  • The suitors fight Odysseus with new confidence. They fire their arrows and swing their swords, but Odysseus is fast enough to shoot down each man with one arrow.
  • Odysseus Makes the Servants Clean the Hall
  • As Odysseus shoots down the men, he begins running low on ammo. He isn't wearing any proper armor, either. He sends his son, Telemachus, to fetch some arrows and armor. He gets some throwing spears, as well.
  • Together, Odysseus and Telemachus are able to kill off every single one of the suitors. Athena deflects the arrows shot by the suitors to help protect Odysseus. It is described that the entire hall reeks of blood, and that there is blood everywhere.
  • Several of Odysseus' servants were acting terribly while Odysseus was gone. He learned this and made the bad ones specifically clean the ruined hall. It was terrible work, and took hours for them all to finish.
