This first panel is depicting Odysseus finally returning home alone, but his appearance is as an old man. He is told to visit his "faithful swineherd ,Eumaeus."

This panel is recreating when Telemachus doesn't know that the man sitting in front of him is his father. Athena "urges Odysseus to let Telemachus know who he really is"(Homer 1145).

I tried to recreate when Odysseus proves that he is Telemachus' father. Once Telemachus realizes that it is actually his father they both "pour out tears, and might have gone till sundown"(Homer 1147).

This panel depicts when Odysseus find his old dog. "Argos, trained as a puppy by Odysseus"(Homer 1148). Odysseus hid the salt tears running down his cheeks from Eumaeus.
