- Once upon a time there was a royal family in a place called DunBrock. The king name was Fergus and the queen Elinor. They had four children. The most important in this story is the older one, Merida.
- Merida has always been different from everyone else. Since little she has liked archery and that wasn't something that girls in her century practice. In that time she was supossed to learn how to be a good wife.
- Her mother has always wanted to Merida have a husband. That's why she invites three clans to her house to ask for her daughter's hand in marriage Merida didn't liked the idea.
- The idea was that this three clans had to participate in a competition of archery. Who won would marry Merida. Her daughter joins in the competition and wins. She tought that if they didn't won, they couldn't marry her.
- After that situation, the queen argues with her daughter. She end's up burning the arc of Merida. Merida also ruined a tapestry that her mother was creating, Merida escapes from the house. She get's into the woods, meets a wich that gives her a enchanted cake that turns her mother and brothers into bears.
- The story ends with Merida helping her mother and brothers become humans again using the tapestry that she destroyed. All ends well and Merida has the opportunity to continue practicing archery.
