- The Deer Mouse is a species of mice that can survive in multiple biome's, is the quickest evolving animal, and is quite unique. This animal evolved through natrau selection and when in places such as Nebraska (Grassland) it's fur is brown.
- Although when in places where glaciers of light sand fell over the darker sand the mice would be found lighter
- This is because predators were able to see the dark mice in the light sand easier making there be more light mice in biomes in which this occurs
- If this occurs enough times it may create a a new group of mice and in this case this is how natural selection and adaptation lead to creation of the Deer Mice.
- For example if this dark deer mice was in a biome where the sand was light like this a bird such as the one above would be able to spot it easier than if it was light
- This is because natural selection favors the lighter mouse and gives them a better chance at survival. They will have not only a chance at survival but have a better chance at having offspring
