  • - The Catholic church has the bible, while the church of England uses scripture and gospel. - The Catholic Church participates in the 7 sacraments, but Anglicans only believe in baptism and eucharist. - Only males can become priests in the Catholic Church, unlike in the Church of England, - Catholics believe that Mary is the mother of Jesus. Anglicans do too; just bot that she is immaculate. - There is Celibacy in the Catholic Church but not the Church of England. - In the Catholic church, the Pope is seen as the head of the Christian faith. However, Anglicans do not recognise the pope as the head of the Christian faith (rather, The British monarch)- Saints are prayed to for guidance and strength in Catholicism, In the Church of England, saints aren't prayed to often
