- The French and Indian War was caused because they were both fighting for land in North America
- After the war, Georgia gained lots of land. People settled along the coastline and opened many coastal areas for trade.
- New land gained by the French:
- The Boston Tea Party was caused by angry mobs were fired at by British soldiers and 342 chests of tea were dumped into the Boston Harbor
- In 1774 the First Continental Congress was made. The members decided to boycott goods and pledged military support un they were attacked.
