- This is showing how Bree (the girl in pink) is devastated how her family is moving to a campground since she doesn't like how it will be dirty. She also doesn't want to move away from her friends for 3 years.
- YAY! I'M SO EXCITED!
- Why do you hate me! this is terrible!
- on page 30 It says, "Melanie plops down next to me. "Bree! Didn't you hear? We're moving to a camp ground! Isn't it great? You used to love camping when we were little, remember? You won that nature trophy in camp and-" If I wasn't already on the ground I swear I would seriously faint. I yell so loudly my voice echoes in my head. "We're WHAT???"'

- In this Jacks mom is oh the phone with Jacks science teacher and the teacher explains that if Jack experiences the solar eclipse then writes a paper about it he can get out of summer school.
- What? why me?
- Your science teacher says that you can go visit the eclipse and write a paper to skip summer school.
- on page 36 it says, "'And you know the best part?" He asks. then Jack asks "What?" "Is that if you participate in the program, then write a short paper at the end, you'll get out of summer school.'"
- OMG!!! She also didn't know.
- In this Ally's mo is explaining to her how Bree's family is taking over the camp ground after the eclipse happens. And Melanie is doing a backflip (yes that was in the text).
- But I love it here. Does Kenny know?
- The text on page 107 says, "'Honey, we should have told you by now but there was never a good time. These are the Holdens.'" then later in the text the mom mentions, "'They are here to take over the Moon Shadow after the eclipse.'"
- I forgot to tell you. We're moving!
