Her husband had turned into a different person, he ban abusing and disrespecting her this led to her return to Mallard.
- After their Fathers death, stella was very confused, so she asked her twin, Desiree what had happened. “Desiree sighed, for the first time feeling the burden of having to supply answers. Oldest was oldest, even if by only 7 minutes” (bennett 38) Although they were the same age, desiree had to be the older sister in this moment. She had to be the one to explain this to her sister.
