They all began running, following the wet footprints of those ahead of them. As Mary Sarah and the woman are running through the woods, Mary hears the sound of men screaming in the distance. She yelled at them and told them to run ahead of her; she saw one of the people from the plantation who had left with them ahead.
NO MARY!!
He saw the patroller gaining on them. He started shouting at them to catch up. They began running towards him trying to make it, trying to be free.
Mary got grabbed before she could get to them. But Sarah was ahead of her. She began to scream for Mary, she tried running towards her. Sarah just want to be with Mary, she wanted Mary to be safe.
A women tried to hold Sarah back but she could not. So the man from the planation grabbed Sarah and threw her over his shoulder. Sarah still cried out for Mary, wanting to save her. Mary saw the patroller staring a Sarah, she got an arm free to throw a rock at his head.
After Mary struck the patroller with a rock he came at her. He strikes her across the face and throws her down to the ground. Mary fights back, punching him, kicking him in his private parts, and hitting him with a stick. When he gets his chance he begins tearing her clothes and strikes her over the head.
Mary finds herself back in her apartment. She is bruised, bleeding, torn clothes and dirt all over her body. When she realizes she is finally home, she begins to look around at her home and sees her plate and wine glass shattered on the ground. Mary stands wondering whether or not it was a dream. Wondering if she had really been there, wondering how she got there, wondering what was happening to her, wondering.
