- Introduction
- Hi! My name is Tyler Falcon. Do you know information about the Civil War? Well if not, you will learn some things about the civil war today.
- Cause of the War
- Well i will fight to keep slavery so we don't have to work in our fields or find workers to do so and they are our property.
- i will fight with the north i want to be free!
- Start of the War
- Lincolns election had some thing to do with the start of the civil war.
- The civil war is important because, the war was going to determine if the confederate states could still be able to have slaves if they wanted but if the union won they would abolish slavery and the slaves could be free from the slave states.
- Union War Efforts
- The union had a specific strategy their strategy was the anaconda strategy.
- The cause of the Civil war is that the southern states wanted to keep slavery and the northerners wanted to abolish slavery so slaves could be free.
- Confederacy War Efforts
- The confederacy Had a different strategy than the union.
- I will fight for these slaves what y'all do to them its not fair.
- Once Lincoln was elected, he had skills because he was leader in the army so he had lots of training so people was scared of him. Well do to this he had enough skill to be able to make the confederates attack Fort Sumter which started the civil war on April 12 1861.
- Legacy of the War
- The end of the civil war had end and guess what slavers are free so! YAY! No more slavery.
- Yay! no more slavery free slaves.
- The Unions civil war strategy was the anaconda plan. The plan called for a naval blockade of the Confederate littoral, a thrust down the Mississippi, and the strangulation of the South by Union land and naval forces. This basically means that the union forced ships on the confederates and closed most of the of the exits and basically means they caused a block aide. One important general was general Winfred scoot he was the one that came up with the anaconda plan and had seceded in 3 other wars
- At first, the Confederacy simply wanted to survive and defend its right to secede. They had no interest in invading Union territory. As the Union army went on the offense and prepared to invade the South, the Confederate army went on the defense and prepared themselves for attack. Which means basically that they wanted to wait for the union to come to them they didn't want to be unprepared. That was a problem so they had to go to the union because the union was waiting because of the anaconda plan.
- The end of the civil war. The slaves were now free and they moved north but the still didn't have equal rights. So they had to figure out how to get jobs and live basically. But the south is also going to have to figure out their lives because they don have slaves to do the things for them. So eventually the north and south come back together because the south could not do it by them self's. The slaves were free that some things how the end of the civil war went.
